Our client, an established Animal Health company, has an exciting new requirement for a Management Accountant to join their expanding Dublin team.
About the firm:
The organisation is dynamic, works at a fast pace and every day is quite varied. The firm has been operating in Ireland since 2015 selling a patented animal health product. Last year the company launched a range of pet products based on the same technology. The operation is growing rapidly in Ireland. As an organisation they have staff in a number of countries including the UK, Europe, USA, Hong Kong and Brazil.
§ Prepare monthly management accounts
§ Analyse all variances, prepare commentary and present to senior stakeholders and management team
§ Review/present profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations
§ Process monthly journals with review of supporting schedules for key GL & BS Accounts
§ Support the annual budgeting process
§ Preparation of Forecasts on an ongoing basis
§ Management of day to day financial operations including payroll, VAT returns, P30 submissions etc
§ Providing management with financial information to assist with decision making
§ Working to optimise processes within the finance team to promote efficiency
§ Input into the design and implementation of a robust reporting framework that allows for the identification of potential financial issues of note in the company
§ Work with management to ensure that the company maintains compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory legislative requirements for financial and tax reporting
§ The preferable candidate will have experience within a public practice environment, preferably in audit
§ ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
§ At least one year PQE experience working preferably as a Management Accountant
§ Strong Microsoft Excel skills
§ Strong communicator and ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
